Appendix A: Legacy Mars Data Transfer File Formats
Mars uses a series of data files to transfer data to and from the host system. There is a Universal File Loader that handles the loading of the host data into Mars. Long time customers will have used one of our previous fixed file structures. These legacy file formats are defined in these appendixes. The files are defined as fixed length records. The files may also be comma delimited. In this case, these record layouts were used to define the order and maximum length of the text fields.
